Benton County Farmers' Market seeks vendors

The Benton County University of Missouri Extension Center will host the fourth annual Warsaw Farmers’ Market from May 12 to Oct. 13. The market will be open from 3 to 7 p.m. Wednesdays and from 7 a.m. to noon on Saturdays in the Orscheln parking lot at 1551 Commercial St. in Warsaw.

MORGAN COUNTY - A Sedalia man remains in jail after a high speed chase ended in Benton County Thursday morning. The Morgan County Sheriff's Office was informed that fugitive, Joshua J. Gresham, 27 of Sedalia, was seen driving a white Plymouth car toward Stover, Missouri.

A Warsaw woman was injured in a vehicle accident at 8:18 p.m. Tuesday in Benton County. Susi N. Hale, 63, was driving west on state Route BB when she drove off the right side of the road and hit an embankment, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report.
